Many more Shetlands has joined the stud, but he always remains the star.
 
His sturdy frame, only 28" high, his small neat head with the big, kind eyes, his pure rich white coat
and the flowing mane and tail.
I shall always be grateful to BIRLING GREY MIRAGE for so many things, and for
countless happy memories, but most of all for being the perfect friend.
 
 
 
 
 
How much time will we be allowed to share? We do not know.
  
 
But in this moment we are million miles away from space and time- and nothing comes to an end.
  
 
Nothing has changed- but everything is under a charm.
  
 
 
 
And where you feel the most, there are not enough words to express.
  
 
 
 
It is a privilege, being allowed to care for this last Birling legend stallion alive and to share the rest of
  
 
his lifetime.
  
 
He has the royal treatment, Dorothy. For always!
  
 
 
 
Birling Grey Mirage is our most important stallion and because time flies, he has his own mares, all pure
  
 
Birling mares.
  
 
All these mares have one thing in common: we know in the fact that Mr. Lionel Hamilton-Renwick
  
 
would have loved this combinations, too. They are all what he chose.

The dam of HIPPOMINIMUS PETER PAN - the famous RUSKIN WENDY, leads back to the founder of the
  
 
english Shetlandpony breeding - JACK 16 - by the important stallions FLORISTAN, CHERUBINO and
  
 
the marvellous stallion FAIRY LIGHT, born in 1925, who pointed the way.
  
     
 
BIRLING GREY MIRAGE goes on his mother's side with the awesome KINGTON PARSLEY and her dam
  
 
BONITA OF HOOLS - back to the MARSHWOOD line. By her sire PACKAGE OF MARSHWOOD
  
 
she carries with the most famous Marshwood top stallion SUPREMACY OF MARSHWOOD (grandsire of the
  
 
unforgetable RUBICON and great grand sire of the legendary FAIRY BACCHUS) and the most important
  
 
Marshwood mare BARONESS OF MARSHWOOD doubtless the cream of the crop of the old english blood lines
