The fight is over. And our ROSE is finally home. Home, where she belongs to.
I managed to get a very special mare from UK that was offered to us already in 2010 by the breeder.
At that time I decided to buy her sister Birling Bright Mirage and had no idea how much I will later have to fight to
bring BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE home to our stud as well.
A very special letter to the woman who bought BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE at Reading 2010 - and it seemed that
fortune smiled on me.
How very wrong I was.
The woman agreed to sell because she said that she would be "too old" for the "Shetland game" and that she
can not offer BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE the love and attention she needs...
So I paid her in full on the 5th of May 2012.
The lady never gave out this pony to the transport team I had engaged.
I tried so hard to solve this on a peaceful way- I sent her roses- Grandma and I packed a huge package of
goodies for her and a lovely letter- even offering her to pay 2000 Euro ON TOP- which was a very generous offer.
She refused it all.
So I had no other chance left to involve a UK solicitor.
That woman stayed stubborn and so I stopped the solicitor and brought it myself to the UK court.
On the 2nd of November I took my flight to Birmingham and spent 2 days in Coventry waiting for
the court date on Monday morning, 4th November 2013, 10 AM.
I expected to meet this woman finally eye to eye, who had the impertinence to keep my money and the pony
since 1,5 years now. A shame for other honest breeders in the UK.
This woman decided not to follow the invitation to the court hearing!
So I was sitting all alone in front of the Judge and told the whole story.
The Judge had no doubt in my honesty and the facts had been clear, black on white.
So he made his judgment in my favour.
The woman was ordered to give out the pony upon my letter within 48 hours with passport to an
authorized person.
My family and I would have felt DEEPLY ASHAMED to treat a customer like she had treaten us.
This woman has counted on the fact that solicitors in the UK are very very expensive.
But to me it was worth it!
And again and yet again- I would do just the same.
BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE is a UNIQUE and IRREPLACABLE treasure.
Her breath-taking beauty, this glorious cream palomino colour - the same powerful movements-
the same like of my beloved leading mare BIRLING BRIGHT MIRAGE.
And this is no accident - BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE is her half-sister!
BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE is the last daughter of the dear departed BIRLING GOLDEN SAMBA.
This make her even more important.
BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE comes with such a great sense of humour, inborn charm that can twist everybody around
her little finger- and such impeccable manners.
Even being still a young mare- she is so ripe in wisdom - she leaves you speechless.
BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE is the most perfectly modelled pony ever seen.
She is such a stunning beauty.
I am so grateful, that I was brave enough not to give up on this unique half-sister of BIRLING BRIGHT MIARGE.
BIRLING GOLDEN ROSE is beside BIRLING BRIGHT MIRAGE the last daughter alive of the
successful BIRLING GOLDEN SAMBA.
We know to appreciate this high-carat mare, given into our hands.
It was worth the fight.
Her sire TAWNA PIRAN carries in addition the fantastic input of the best old Birling x Fairy bloodlines.
TAWNA PIRAN, by BIRLING INDUNA out of FALLACY OF WETHERDEN (also dam of FANDANGO OF WETHERDEN
and BIRLING SUPER SAM) by VERO (1957, 29 inch) goes back to the only 26,5 inch high FAIRY FLY (1949)
by BONAPARTE (full brother to BRETTA) of 1893- a son of Odin (foundation stallion of the most important
SOUTH PARK lines) back to Lord of the Isles, son of JACK 16 and the unforgotten MULTUM IN PARVO.
Her dam BIRLING GOLDEN SAMBA makes hearts beat faster of each Birling enthusiast!
She is a direct daughter of the century stallion FANDANGO OF WETHERDEN.
Her dam TYROS BELLA is on top of that dam of BIRLING SPELLBOUND- the dam of our marvellous stallion
BIRLING DORADO, himself one of the last rare sons of the famous BIRLING GOLDEN CLOUD.

ARDMAIR ROSEFLOWER - and the South Park mare RED ROSE - a careful inbred on BEAU IDEAL (1928)
out of BELLE GLORIA and BELLE OF THE BALL back to the famous price-winning BRETTA (born 1888)
by Odin x Beauty, whose photographs can be found in early studbooks and her father ODIN (32)
was one of the most famous founding sires of the best South Park bloodlines.
