A happy ending cannot come in the middle of the story.

This mare should have never left us.

When the german breeder Stefan Sch. promised us in 2010 Birling Golda if he gets Witches Brew,

and gave us the written pre-emption to be able to buy back Witches Brew with first right, I trusted that man.

I have paid for this. When he had my Witches Brew- he claimed that Birling Golda died suddenly!

I involved a solicitor and he forced him to give out her passport- what he did immediately.

But no trace at all of the whereabouts of Birling Golda.

So we are THRILLED that the GOOD triumphs over the evil in the end of this heart-breaking story and that a lady

from Southern Germany to whom Stefan Sch. sold Witches Brew- EVEN we had the first right to buy her back-

after this woman heard our story she was immediately willing to gave us back our so missed mare- with a very big

heart.

When we drove home with Witches Brew - we passed a VERY BIG, FAT rainbow- as if it would be a gate-

and exactly this moment the church bells were ringing!

This was fate.

There won't be no more Birling mare in this unique colour and bloodline.

BIRLING WITCHES BREW is a "Grande Dame", a mare with terrific exterieur and presence.

And an amazing colour that tops it all- a REAL "Witches Brew". Her name couldn't be more perfect.

Witches Brew is a drak cream palomino based on bay - with a bay belly and also in winter : bay boots and eelstripe.

Her dark palomino colour and silver hair sparkles in the sun like pure gold!

Her dam BIRLING WITCHCRAFT is a full sister to one of my most beloved mares- BIRLING EVITA.

Both are daughters out of the unbeated match BIRLING GOLDEN CLOUD x BIRLING BLUE FLAME.

BIRLING BLUE FLAME - was of an immensive value for the Birling bred. She is the daughter of

Mr. Hamiltons most beloved BECKY SHARPE and his famous FANDANGO OF WETHERDEN.

BIRLING BLUE FLAME - a mare of such an importance for the old Birling bred- daughter by

the fantastic match of BECKY SHARPE and the famous FANDANGO OF WETHERDEN- both of highest value to

the Late Sir Lionel Hamilton Renwick.

BECKY SHARPE dates back to the same bloodline as FIREBRAND and FIREAWAY.

LADY JOAN GORE-LANGTON, who owned the South Park stud at that time, gave LIONEL HAMILTON RENWICK

BECKY SHARPE, because he was not able to buy FIREAWAY and FIREBRAND back after World War II.

BECKY SHARPE therefore had a very emotionally value to him.

Also her popular sire EARLSDON GOLDEN SEFTON - ever since he has caused people's heart beat faster.

A nearly pure old ARDMAIR pedigree set the tone.

We count our blessings that Witches Brew, which we imported from our friend Paul Brightwell, her breeder,

is finally back home here with us!

So long it has hurt deeply how much we had been betrayed by the german breeder Stefan Sch. in such an

inhuman way. A man, who has deserved this mare at no time.

Like in a fairy tale - the GOOD always triumphs over the evil.

And Witches Brew is back were she belongs to.

Birling Witches Brew will never leave our stud again.
